PEF chairman while addressing at second day of co-ordination meeting, said that PEF's monitoring staff will not impose any fines due to insufficient number of class rooms in partner schools till September. After summer vacations monitoring team will visit and inspect the facility to ensure the PEF benchmarks.

PEF chairman also announced that from next year partner schools will provide students books and the expenditure will be later reimbursed by the PEF. He further added that this initiative will help to minimise scarcity of books and to ensure quality education for deprived children. Chairman PEF also said that funding of schools is directly related to our computerised student verification system "student information system" (SIS). PEF will grant no funds for the student whose picture and vita is not found on SIS.

Chairman PEF also announced the launch of a new kid's magazine; this Magazine will help inculcating creative abilities in children. Very soon this magazine will available in all PEF schools across Punjab. PEF, MD Tariq Mahmood while addressing at the occasion said that PEF acknowledge its legitimate partners, who are in contract with us. We do not acknowledge or encourage any hidden partners, and we have taken this decision to provide a hostile free working environment to school owners so that they can continue working for the provision of free quality education. He further added that to make this process transparent we will publish all the agreements on our website.-PR
